I love most all Disney couples. I think Prince Phillip fell in love with Aurora's voice and looks.(Typical) Even though he think's she's a peasant girl. Because they didn't have much time to fall in love.

This couple is incidentally my favorite.
And for Aurora, it's understandable she'd fall in love with him instantly. Like Tarzan, for example, she didn't have much contact with the outside world. So Phillip is pretty much the first male she's ever talked to, and a handsome one at that, so of course she'd develop a crush. 
And as for Phillip, it's a fairy tale. If you judge a fairy tail by how realistic it is, you'll ruin every movie.
